Chelsea Clinton's Wedding location

The Chelsea Clinton's wedding has been an interest point to many of us lately. Sure we are curious as to where it will take place and what the wedding will include from food, through flowers, the dress and the like.
Here is some of the scoop on the wedding planner and the location:

The wedding is to be planned by the Boston- area planner Bryan Rafanelli. You bet it will look amazing since Bryan is known for producing some of the most incredible events.
The location for this sought after wedding will expect to take place under a tent at the Astor Courts.
Astor Courts is a 3,500 estate in Rhinebeck New York. This home is a private residence that actually belongs to some of the Clinton's family friends. If you like what you see you can put in an offer, since the house is currently on the market at Sotheby's for $12 million. Let me know if you decide to buy it as I will be happy to offer my design expertise ;-)

I sure love my Phillip Jeffries natural texture wallcoverings

I love wallpaper and the dimension it adds to the room. Grass-cloth has an amazing impact within a space, it adds texture, layers, acoustics and warmth.
Phillip Jeffries Ltd. is definitely one of the go to wallpapers when it comes to natural texture wallcoverings.
They not only provide vibrant colors of natural wall fibers, but wallcoverings with amazing patterns variety of materials.
Take a look at these beauties, each one has a special place in a perfectly designed room.

Long lasting magical bouquets by Diane James

I adore fresh flowers, their scent and energy  that enlivens the room is so magical. I also love my orchids and painfully watch the flowers fall off leaving my plant with nothing but sticks.
If you feel the same way about dying plants, can't seem to keep them alive or just want a beautiful bouquet all year round- here is a way to do it.
Get amazing undying plants that are remarkably crafted. Diane James artificial flowers look amazingly real and, one can hardly tell that they are not the real deal.
It's fantastic to have a beautiful looking bright colored blooming bouquet in a snap, without it dying the next day.

Diane James creates amazing floral arrangements and orchid plants that steal the show. They are fantastic accessories to every room and top choices by some of the most renowed designers such as: Barbarra Barry, Michael Smith, Mario Buatta.
These beautiful arrangements can also be found at the following stores: Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Gorsuch Aspen, Hoaglands at Greenwich, Fortnum & Mason London,  Gracious Home NYC, Nancy Corzine Southampton South Beach

Oh sweet Laduree Macaroon

Lately I have been dreaming about Laduree macaroons. Their perfect delicate crisp yet soft outside and delicious creamy inside melts in your mouth. Not to mention that the colors and their presentation is divine and they would look amazing at any party.
We don't have a Laduree store here in Chicago, otherwise I would stop by right now and get every flavor/color to quench my macaroon desire. Too bad I can't just hop on the plane to Paris and bring a box back, but that would mean I would have to brush up on my French (or learn it all together) and visit the French part of my family.
Hmm this plan doesn't seem so bad....I'll keep you posted :)

Summer in the City Dream Home, A Luxe Interiors + Design Event -Chicago

Last night I went to a fantastic event at the Merchandise Mart Chicago. It was the "Summer in the City Dream Home" event.
It kicked off the summer Dream Home opening , (among others) sponsored by the Luxe magazine.
For those of you that don't know- Dream home is an amazing display of designed rooms ( such as a Showhouse) yet they are located at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Talented designers design each room featuring beautiful pieces in their remarkably designed rooms. This event usually has a great kick of party (grand opening) where local interior designers are invited, and they get to see the opening of the rooms while sipping on cocktails, munching on yummy treats, listening to live music, and mingling with other designers . This time around, the dress code was "Summer White". Unfortunately I didn't wear white that day, yet I still had a fabulous time (it seems like I wasn't the only one that didn't wear white :)  ). Take a look at some of the dream home photos   :)
